The new Metrolinx 2041 Regional Transportation Plan advances transportation solutions and innovation for the Greater Toronto & Hamilton Area. Prime helped strategically hone the vision and content while coordinating internal teams and external consultants.
Prime Strategy & Planning provided strategic lead support for preparation of the 2041 Regional Transportation Plan, Metrolinx (2017) for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA).
Support included coordinating the internal team and various consultant teams to focus core content, analysis and strategic policy proposed in the plan. One of the most important plans for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA), this plan updates the 2008 Big Move. It provides the future direction to advance transportation solutions and innovation across the region for the planning period, to 2041.
Work included refining the vision goals and objectives and focus strategic intent. Engagement focused on key stakeholders including the GTHA Chief Planners and Transit Authorities to present and work through the proposed direction.
